What is a Harm Dialogue?

A Harm Dialogue focuses on the crime’s impact. It is a face-to-face interactive conference between the crime survivor(s) and the person who caused the harm.

A Harm Dialogue is:

  • Initiated by the crime survivor(s)
  • Not designed to further appeals or parole
  • Focused on the emotional and mental well-being of all participants
