What is a Restorative Dialogue?
A Restorative Dialogue is a face-to-face mediated conversation between the crime survivor(s) and the person responsible for the harm.
A Restorative Dialogue is:
- Initiated by the crime survivor(s)
- Not designed to further appeals or parole
- Focused on the emotional and mental well-being of all participants
- May take several months of preparation before the dialogue takes place
